THE ORIGIN STORY
At Casa de Cookies, we believe every cookie tells a story, and ours begins with Kelli — a proud American mom, food industry professional, and third-generation scratch baker from Long Beach, California.
THE EARLY DAYS
Baking is in Kelli’s blood. From an early age, she watched her mother and grandmother turn simple ingredients into magical treats that brought joy to friends and family. Over the past 20 years, Kelli has continued this legacy, perfecting the art of cookie baking for a growing (and very hungry) audience of family, friends, swimmers, runners, riders and water polo players. These lucky taste-testers sampled, salivated, and devoured batch after batch of Kelli’s cookies — and every time, they said the same thing:
"We need more! Where can we buy these? You HAVE to start a business!"
So, here it is — Casa de Cookies — where passion, tradition, and a little sprinkle of fun meet to create irresistible American cookies that feel like home, no matter where you are.
Funny to think that all this time "The LBC” actually meant Long Beach Cookies”!
THE COSTA RICA CONNECTION
Kelli’s family has a home away from home in beautiful Costa Rica, a place where decades of adventures, memories, and flavors have blended into something truly special. Whether it’s expats longing for a taste of home, or Ticos craving the rich, buttery goodness of American-style cookies, the requests have been loud and clear:
"We want those decadent cookies, just like the Gringos make!"
At Casa de Cookies, we’ve answered the call. By mixing Kelli’s American baking roots with Costa Rica’s spirit of hospitality and adventure, we’ve baked up the ultimate treat for your eating pleasure. Each bite delivers the comfort of home and the flavor of indulgence, no matter where you are.
